The City Council approved the rezoning and preliminary plat for the Bluffs of Rum River on October 3, 2022. The development has received conditional approval from the DNR and is pending final review from MnDOT. The project consists of 40 single family residential, 102 rowhome units, 40 detached townhomes, a 120-unit apartment and a 2.96-acre site for future commercial use. The development is expected to develop in phases from south to north.
